Fr Biju Kocherinalpathil

Syro Malabar Chaplain , Archdiocese of Southwark
Fr Biju Alex (born on 10 October,
1970 and ordained on 1st January, 2001) is a member of the CMI
congregation in Jagdalpur Province, Bastar Dt., Chhattisgarh
State. He holds a post graduation in Biotechnology from MGU,
Kerala. He worked in Jagdalpur mission province for a long time
rendering his services among the tribal people in different
levels. He worked as teacher and vice-principal in different
schools and lecturer in Christ College, Jagdalpur. Parochial
vicar, Parish Priest, Hostel Warden, Director of Mission Station,
etc were the other areas of his service. Fr Biju was working
as Financial Councilor of Jagdalpur Province before his arrival
here. With the consent of the Synod, Archbishop of Southwark
has appointed Fr Biju as the Syro-Malabar Chaplain in this diocese
from October 2008.
